“Tracey:
I just wanted to reach out because I am asking for prayer… I know you talk about so many different things and I wanted to ask you to pray with me. When I thought of who I wanted to share my problem with you were one of a few women I thought of. I recently got some medical news that is kinda scary. Nothing bad has been told to me yet, but I am so frightened. I am lined up to take so many different medical tests… I know God hears my prayers to but just keep me in your prayers please…” (Monica, FL) Dear Monica, thank you so much for allowing me to share some of your email. When I read your email in great length, I felt much compassion. Standing in prayer with you is a privilege, because you thought enough about me to share what you are going through. As a human being, being fearful is part of the human framework. It sounds like this pending medical news and upcoming testing is making your nervous, because you don’t have all the information yet. Facing unknown territory in life can be scary for anyone. I want you to know, Monica, that God created you, me, and everyone, and He created us with emotions so don’t be so hard on yourself for simply… feeling. I also want you to know, Monica, that applying your faith in this situation is ALWAYS the key. The human thing to do is to start searching and reading all kinds of stuff on the internet, etc., but continue to stay focused on reading and meditating on the word of God. The word of God should ALWAYS be the first thing we run too and cling too when life is living up to its reputation of throwing unexpected curve balls. You know, Monica, one of the many things that’s so amazing about Jesus is that He ALREADY bore our sins and iniquities on that rugged cross (1 Peter 2:24). So what does that mean for us today is that every lash that Jesus took, He took it for all the bad and terrible sickness and disease that people have faced, are facing, and will face. Those lashes represented healing from hearing loss, depression, blindness, chronic pain, all forms of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, infertility, lupus, learning disabilities, back pain, paralysis, brain injuries, tumors, and all abnormalities, etc. What you are facing in this upcoming medical determination, Jesus has ALREADY bore this for you; therefore, you have a right to declare your complete and permanent healing. As a believer, you ALREADY have the authority to rebuke any sickness and disease to leave your body as well as negative thoughts and speech from anyone. Monica, I know you have probably heard this so many times before, but calm down, take deep breaths, and when fear comes tell fear it has no place in your life. Another thing that people may not always talk about with healing is forgiving. Talk to God and ask for forgiveness for anything you may have done and even forgive those that have wronged you. Continue to speak life over your body every day and give God thanks for everything even the things that are unknown, because God can take care of you (Philippians 4:4). God sees you, Monica, and God is not done with you yet so keep your eyes fixed ONLY on Jesus. Be at peace, because YOU GOT THIS!! -Tracy Healing Scriptures: Psalm 107:20; James 5:14-16; John 15:7; Isaiah 53:4-5; Psalm 103:3; 1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 4:23-24; etc. ![]() I think with this article I’m going to get straight to the point. God anoints people to do His works with the help of the Holy Spirit throughout this world. Each person has a different thing they do, but the key is God is the only One who can provide the anointing to do it and to get the intended godly results. I know some people may feel that if they have enough money, they can buy anything they want if the price is right especially if they are buying something that will give them a better appearance than what and who they really are. The anointing, however, is NOT for sale. No matter how spiritual or holy you think you are or what position you may hold in the body of Christ, you must NEVER forget that the anointing on your life is not for sale. When you are in a position that other people look to you for guidance, they will automatically trust what you say and what you announce, because these people believe you have heard from God and are speaking on behalf of God. Therefore, you can’t force something to happen in your life or ministry just because you want to keep up with the “Joneses.” If you feel this way or are experiencing pressure to be like everybody else, it is imperative that you first check your source. Maybe just maybe what God has given you to do (however big or small) is because that’s all you can handle? One thing for sure is that you will NEVER be able to force God to do something or to show up at your forced event just because you say so. Don't get me wrong God is always with you wherever you go, BUT God does NOT perform on command either. See the moment you have to force something to happen the way you want it too or to please others, there is an automatic disclaimer line built into the fine print that says failure is inevitable. If you have to take these extra steps just to let people know who you are, then you are NOT being authentic. Has it really come to this that you are going to allow other people around you to talk you into lowering your spiritual standards? You know you are uncomfortable doing this, so why are you doing it? See these people around you have a planned goal which is to make everything very comfortable and easy for you. They are quick to tell you not to worry, and they will take care of everything so that you can go on with your life. Before long, nothing looks like the vision God has given you. Instead, what God has built through you now looks more like the people that take care of everything for you. It is disappointing to even think that the anointing on your life could be purchased. When it appears as though you have to buy things to make you look better or to become more popular, this is a clear indicator that you have a crack in your armor and that’s all the entry way the enemy needs. Heed this final warning, because the real issue is to replace you and takeover what God has built through you. Be cautious and NOT “insta” anointed. The Bible is clear that the gospel is profitable (2 Timothy 3:16-17) on its own merits without enhancements, so you can be sure the gospel is NOT for sale which leaves the question, "Why are you allowing your anointing to be?" -Tracy |
