THE GOOD PAUSE

No matter what time you are reading this or what country you maybe reading this from, I don't want to talk about anything else but the goodness of God.  I am respectfully asking you to take a God pause from your struggles today.  I am asking you to take a pause from who hurt you.  I am asking you to take a pause from who abandoned you.  I am asking you to take a pause from who rejected you.  I am asking you to take a pause from asking God why you are still single.  I am asking you to take a pause from why you may not have a job.  I am asking you to take a pause from feeling overwhelmed.  I am asking you to take a pause from judging others.  I am asking you to take a pause from feeling your low self esteem.  I am asking you to take a pause from dwelling on your divorce.  I am asking you to take a pause from stressing over your children.  I am asking you to take a pause from feeling like a failure, because you have not been able to conquer your addiction yet.  I am asking you to take a pause from gossiping.  I am asking you to take a pause from being competitive.  I am asking you to take a pause from trying to please people.  I am asking you to take a pause from complaining.  I am asking you to take a pause from worrying.  I am asking you to take a pause from being jealous.  I am asking you to take a pause from being fearful.  I am asking you to take a pause from trying to be popular.  I am asking you to take a pause from doubting God.  I think you get the picture of what I am saying.

When was the last time you stopped and really thought about the creator of the universe?  Think about this, God who knit you in your mother's womb is also the same and only God who is the initiator of the sun rising and setting everyday.  He saw your heart come into existent, and then He made your heart beat.  He put your eyes into focus.  He spoke words of love, so your ears could hear.  God is so good that He can simultaneously makes the flowers bloom in one country while you are sleeping during the night in another country.  God is so great that He holds the depths of the oceans and its occupants in His hands.  God takes time to select and assign specific angels  to watch over you.  Do you know that just because you maybe 60 years old, 18 years old, 52 years old, 32 years old, 75 years old, 40 years old, etc., that God still thinks of you as His little child?  Just because you are no longer a small child in statue doesn't mean you are too old for God to think of you this way.  Regardless of your age, God sees you as His creation, His child, and His masterpiece.  In 1 John 3:1, the Bible describes to us that we are to call ourselves children of God and that this high honor is a great revelation to possess.  God's agape love for you is without conditions.  You need to take time and really think about just how much God cares for you.  Whether you realize it or  not, God is good to you EVERY single day of your life.  He takes time to hear you, to protect you, to provide for you, to strengthen you, and to do so many good things just for little ole you.  God is so detailed about you from your head to your toes that He knows every strand of hair on your head (Luke 12:7).  Even if you happen to have grey hairs on your head, He knows about them too!!

God is so good that you are considered His workmanship to do good works for Jesus (Ephesians 2:10).  Over 2,000 years ago, the Son of Man walked this earth and now you are here on His behalf with the Holy Spirit within you to do good works (Romans 5:5).  Wherever you are sitting right now reading this as a Jesus follower, you are already created to do good.  That means when your human mind tells you the opposite, you must never forget that you are already authorized to do good.

Remember when I asked you to take a pause from your struggles?  Well God is so good that He has already given you beauty for your ashes (Isaiah 61:3).  You know what that means right that if you are still carrying around your ashes, it is because you have chosen to do this all on your own free will.  God's goodness is the solution to everything that I have asked you to pause from and so much more.  By the way, did you also know  that you can make this temporary pause, a permanent pause today!  I suggest that you take part of your day everyday and remember just how good God is to you.  I repeat God is good to you.  God doesn't withhold His goodness based on what you believe is going on in your life.  God is still good to you, and don't take Him for granted.  I would like to challenge you for the next 30 days to say at least one or more times every single day, "God thank you for being so good to me."  Will you accept this challenge today?
